Snæbjörn Arngrímsson was born in Reykjavik, 1961. He studied psychologyand literature in the University of Iceland. His first book The Secrets of the Aban-doned House won the Icelandic Children’s Literature Prize 2019 and was nomi-nated for the Icelandic Bookseller’s Prize. With his first thriller, One True Word, Arngrímsson attracted a lot of attention and he is now being published abroad. His follow-up, The Chosen One, is both an exciting thriller and a well-crafted study of human nature.
